Warm up times are 8:30 and 13:15 both days for morning and afternoon sessions.

Kit
The kit has arrived 🙌 Miriam will bring this along to training on Tuesday for collection from 18:30- 19:30 to overlap the 2 sessions. If you are unable to collect on Tuesday I’ll bring any remaining items to the other training sessions this week. I’ll head down the corridor with it so it’s not so obvious to swimmers coming in or out of the pool.

Holywell Valentine Gala January 6th/7th 2024
Please see the meet pack for details of the timetable and events over the 2 days.
This gala has qualification / consideration times. Please the the separate tables below. Your swimmer must have achieved the consideration time for their age group at a previous gala in order to swim that event.
We will accept entries for this gala up to and including December 3rd (after the Chirk gala for those who may achieve times on that day). Please send entries to buckleygala@outlook.com and include swimmer name and which events (stroke and distance) that they want to swim.

Swimming Technical Officials - Training
For anyone interested in training to be a timekeeper at galas, the link to the online course is below.
This can be completed at any time, then you buddy up with a qualified official at galas to practice and get signed off.

Parents Information Evening
Next Sunday 22nd October we will be holding a parents information evening in the viewing area at the pool at 4pm.
This will be an informal opportunity to hear about the club structure, aims and purpose.
Ask any questions about training, galas, membership or anything swimming related ahead of the upcoming galas.
Members of the committee will be on hand to talk about volunteering opportunities.
This will also be the last day to place orders for swimmers clothing in the bulk order.
We look forward to seeing you then 😊

Sheffield 27th - 28th January 2024
Please see the meet pack below for the Rotherham Metro gala to be held at Ponds Forge National Pool Sheffield.
This is open to all swimmers - no qualifying times required.
This is a fun and social weekend and a chance to swim as Northern Celts Team, combined with swimmers from Holywell and Bangor swimming clubs. Previously we have got together for a meal on the Saturday evening (parents, swimmers and coaches). It is also an opportunity to compete in a 50m swimming pool.
